From the song ‘Raining on Sunday’, what do these words mean:
Oh, surrender is much sweeter, when we both let it go.’
Surrender means letting go.. so I don’t fully understand what he means by the sentence. I love the song, though.

I don’t know the song, but from what I can tell, it means that giving up on something is much easier than having both of them hold on to what was- even having one of them hold onto whatever it is makes it tough as still holding on to what was will make things difficult in the long run. Basically, giving up is probably a better than holding on to the past, maybe.
