today was rosie’s birthday… okay, not really, her actual birthday is going to be on monday but we decided to celebrate her birthday today since monica was going to be out on monday and she wanted to be there to celebrate rosie’s birthday. i miss rosie a lot, even though we still take our breaks together in the morning to go grab some coffee, i don’t get to talk to her as often as before when we were on the same team. we have since gotten promotions and moved to different jobs/teams but i like how we still make an effort to at least chat for about 15-20mins during our morning break. we had a pizza party which was fine for me although i still am not a big fan of regular pizza. i still ate it of course but i think the only pizza i actually enjoy eating is from CPK. anyways… i just want to wish rosie a great birthday!

i was also excited about this day because i checked ups.com and according to that, book 7 was on the truck "in transit" it said. i was hoping it would have arrived today… it didn’t. bastards!! hahaha. i’m so psyched to read it already! went to go have sushi and catch the new adam sandler movie and i had hoped that the book would be delivered while i was out… it didn’t. damn it! anyways, the adam sandler movie was typical adam sandler funny… that is those of us who are fans will mostly likely enjoy it and those who aren’t fans will probably not. what i did find a bit funny was the movie’s message about tolerance torwards the gay community. i doubt that majority of the adam sandler demographic even got it… not to be harsh or anything… but i think its true. for the purpose of this movie, they probably agreed with the movie’s message that a person being gay is not a bad thing especially if that person is a character played by adam sandler… but then once the movie is over, i’m betting if they were to see an openly gay couple outside, they wouldn’t have the same tolerant views. still gotta give props to sandler and his writers for at least trying to preach tolerance.
