Does anyone remember the old television show Seinfeld? Remember the charactors played by Jerry Seinfeld and Julia Louis Dreyfus (Jerry and Elaine?) They were very close but basically it was not romantic or sexual. Could you see your self being as close to someone of the opposite sex just like Jerry and Elaine– but without the romance and sex?

Have you ever had a real close opposite sex friend that you talked to every day but were not romantic? Could that friendship/ relationship continue after you got married?

No. I don’t think its a good idea to have that kind of friendship once you are married. I once worked with a lady who had such a friendship. She then acted surprised when this guy (also married) asked her if she would be interested in going out on a date! It’s just not a good idea there is too much temptation.
