The Arc of Prince George’s County awarded Tamarah Streeter, 38, of Bladensburg with the Outstanding Citizens Award in October. The Arc is a national grassroots organization that supports children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Just wondered what your opinions were on Kate Moss’s latest quote that sparked outrage in the papers this week. Do you think it does promote annorexia as suggested or, like me do you think it has been taken completly out of context in order to gain front page space?

I don’t think its that great of a quote- but I don’t think people needed to freak out like they did. However, younger people are a lot more influential, especially when it comes to weight loss, so I can see where they are coming from Especially if someone is younger and a huge fan of her, I can see why they would be scared for others to hear that quote.
