Venus Williams Trivia!
I know Serena retains the #1 ranking by getting to the finals. What will the new rankings look like on Monday for Venus?

Answer by sportsfan925
Venus might move up a spot to 5th. She will earn just a few points for reaching semis, having to defend 250 from last year. While Zvonereva had to defend 450, and lost early. In my mind however, Serena and Venus are clearly 1-2 in the world, for they have been most consistent, and when healthy, the best out there. They dont play 25-30 tournaments as others do, and still high in rankings. Those that play all those tournaments wouldnt be ranked as high.
Venus has been quite steady since late last season, and I expect her to keep climbing.
