Johnson: Mudslinging is best Democrats can do

Johnson: Mudslinging is best Democrats can do
It was Bob Schieffer – not Rush Limbaugh, not Glenn Beck, not Bill O’Reilly, not Sean Hannity – who smacked down President Barack Obama ‘s key campaign meme this midterm season. The main [and most appalling] problem with O’Reilly, Hannity, Limbaugh et al and the sharper end of ‘Foxilosophy’ is that they, quite simply and wittingly, brook no argument. None.

These people are in possession of mouths [which are seldom silent], but seem devoid of ears.

To these people and their ilk, to listen is quite simply seen as absurd.

They are right. Only they know.

The handmaiden of this ludicrous notion that every viewpoint and argument but theirs remains erroneous is the appearence of that most prophetic of garments, the brown shirt.

They realise only too well [they are not wholly ignorant and obtuse] that the mere act of listening will lead to possible, if not probable, intellectual defeat.

Listening is thus to be avoided at all cost.

Dogma must, and should, devour reason whole.

The very last word one can use to describe these vapid, egotistical, and dangerous cretins is ‘reasonable’.

Rush Limbaugh Trivia!
Would Rush Limbaugh have survived during the stone age?

One one hand there was no disability or welfare, which he’d love; on the other hand he’d get mauled by the people who were physically stronger and more fit.

Answer by cassandra007
Absolutely, because he is intelligent, perceptive and knows how to survive in difficult situations.
