I know, Australia! This duo had a pretty easy-going set. Their sound reminded me a lot of Tegan and Sara, if you know who they are. I really enjoyed it, and so did the rest of the predominantly female audience. Perhaps had something to do with the Tegan and Sara sound…

David Letterman Trivia!
He was found guilty of trying to blackmail Letterman by going to him and implying that he would reveal to the public about Letterman’s relationships with his female staff members if Letterman didn’t pay him a large sum of money.

What that guy did was wrong. But, in a way, he did allow the truth of Letterman’s (inappropriate?) relationships to be revealed to the world. So, in a way, was he kind of like a martyr – sacrificing himself for a cause?

I don’t see him as a martyr. He is a blackmailer and extortionist, and nothing more. Yes David Letterman’s affairs are morally wrong, but they aren’t against the law. Everyone involved was a legal consenting adult so there really was no reason for the world to know anything about David Letterman’s private life. Just because someone is on TV or a celebrity doesn’t mean we actually have to know every little detail of their personal lives.
