New to DVD: ‘Paranormal Activity 2,’ ‘It’s Kind of a Funny Story’ and ‘Life As We Know It’
“Paranormal Activity 2″ is 95 percent prequel, 5 percent sequel and pretty much 100 percent creepy — but not as disturbing as the 2009 movie that spawned what appears to be a new fall franchise. The original story about a young California couple trying to document the evil spirits in their home was a figment of director-writer Oren Peli’s imagination.
