The Cats won a very close game in cold wet and windy conditions. By winning the Grand Final, Geelong became one of the all time great sides of the VFL/AFL. The damage was done by Paul Chapman who snapped the goal to put the Cats in front in the dying final minutes of the game. The Cats held on and the rest is now history… GO Cats!!
