Do I have constipation?

I have been on my bike a lot and am thinking that I will never be this thin again. So I held the camera up near the light in my office and took a few shots my face because I am vain.

The pose may have been influenced by the fact that we had been watching Jack Bauer (24 season 7). Kiefer Sutherland is about a year and a half younger than me, and has a lot more hair. I think.

Mr Takashi Nagase was a Japanese military interpreter during the WWII at the Japanases prisoner of war camps that were forced to build the death railway. After the war he began to regret his actions during it and became a buddhist. He has built this museum ( The Jeath Peace museum ) to remember the dreadful treatment the Japanese inflicted on the allied prisoners and the local Thai population.

There’s a lot of pictures in this museum drawn by Allied POW and smuggled out of the camps showing the sort of conditions they were living in, the punishments they suffered and the work they had to do and a lot of it is almost unbelievably horrible.

I think this guy is the translator in the film "To End All Wars" which stars Robert Carlyle and Kiefer Sutherland and follows the capture and imprisonment of the 93rd Argyll & Sutherland highlanders as they are forced to work on the railway. As graphic as this film is ( and it is a good film ) it still doesn’t show anything nearly as horrific as the things depicted in this museum.

Keifer Sutherland’s grandfather is Tommy Douglas the
Father of Canadian Medicare. He was also a Thomas Clement “Tommy” Douglas, PC, CC, SOM (October 20, 1904 – February 24, 1986) was a Baptist minister who became a prominent Canadian social democratic politician. As leader of the Saskatchewan Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) from 1942 and the seventh Premier of Saskatchewan from 1944 to 1961, he led the first socialist government in North America and introduced universal public healthcare to Canada. When the CCF united with the Canadian Labour Congress to form the New Democratic Party, he was elected as its first federal leader and served in that post from 1961 to 1971. He is warmly remembered for his folksy wit and oratory with which he expressed his determined idealism, exemplified by his fable of Mouseland.(Wikipedia)
