If Derek Jeter’s contract talks get messy, even Red Sox fans should not chortle
The Last American Sports Hero is a free agent. Derek Jeter and the Yankees are embarking on negotiations we all assume will lead to a new deal. But answer me this, Red Sox fans, would it not be delightful to watch an ugly contract fight develop, simultaneously tarnishing the image of both sides?
