North Vancouver’s Rebecca Marino named Canada’s top female tennis player
Rebecca Marino, the North Vancouver teenager who took Venus Williams to a first set tiebreaker at the U.S. Open and won three second-tier pro tennis events this fall, has been named Tennis Canada’s Female Player of the Year for 2010.

Venus Williams Trivia!
My mom thinks they are really conceited, but I don’t think they’re that bad, especially recently (but I still think they can be arrogant at times). However, I’ve only been watching tennis for a few years where as my mom has been watching tennis for her whole life. Soooo are the Williams sisters generally considered conceited or not?

Venus can b a lil but only because she was the one woman that fought that woman are just as good as men, and should be paid (reward money) equally and she actually made that happen.
Serena is tough & sarcastic at times, but she has been thru alot behind the tournaments that we dont get to see, they both get picked on alot because they are good. But I think they both have good sportsmanship.
