Most of the locations that were used for the 1971 Spielberg thriller Duel are no longer recognizable. I have found a few, however, that have changed little over the last 40 years.
This cafe that David (Dennis Weaver) stops at after "almost getting killed" is still standing in Santa Clarita and is now a French Restaurant.

Steven Spielberg Trivia!
For film studies I have to research a film director so I thought there would be loads of info on Steven Spielberg. Does he have a particular feature within his films that makes the audience know its his film? Is he famous for a particular thing within his films? Please help! Im really stuck on what to research about his films! Thanks

I find he likes to film kids with fat little faces.
He likes to have obvious and overly dramatic scores.
Tries to make movies about an “everyman” rather than something like a superhero.
Women characters are usually assertive and willing to fight as much as men, rather than the typical submissive women you see in many other movies.
He has some signature shots and camera angles that you can see repeated in many of his movies so you can tell when you are watching a Spielberg film, even if you’ve never seen it before.
