Oprah Winfrey Trivia!
For my U.S. History class, I have to compare robber baron from the late 19th century to a modern day mogul. I’ve decided to compare Andrew Carnegie and Oprah Winfrey. Now I know that in essays, at first you refer to the subject by their first and last name and then for the rest of the essay, you call them by just their last name. Now my question is: does this apply to Oprah as well? Should I refer to her as Oprah or as Winfrey?

Answer by Beth
I would continue to refer to her as Oprah.
