AC/DC Trivia!
I’m planning on moving from the US to Sweden. And I’m not sure if I’ll be able to take my iHome, since it is rather expensive. I was wondering if it will work if I just buy a new cord once I move, since AC/DC cords are common, I would assume I can match up the voltage and hopefully make it work.

Can anyone help? Let me know if that would work or not.

Thanks!

if the company that made the iHome has different cords, check with them first. otherwise look on your iHome (either on the appliance itself or somewhere near where near the plug) and make sure it says 220/140 or 240/140 or 120/220 (as long as the numbers range from 100 to 160 for one set and 220-240 for the other), then all you need is an adapter so it will fit in the right plug. if it doesn’t have those numbers listed anywhere on it, then you will need to buy a currency converter which will convert the power for you. the only thing about all this different voltage thing, you can use that stuff for a while, but the motors will burn out more quickly in your appliances due to the difference in electrical current.
electrical currents run from 100-160 here in the us
they are from 220-240 in sweden.
