He cancelled David Letterman’s interview and said he’s going to Washington to deal with the Crisis, when in fact he was chasing after Palin with her Katie Couric interview.

Katie was where McCain and Palin were at. DUH, he is going to Washington, he is not going to TRAVEL to go to Letterman. Katie was in the exact spot McCain and Palin is, sounds reasonable to me.
