Bruce Springsteen Trivia!
This has seriously confused me for years. You know the line in Born to Run by Bruce Springsteen: “wrap your legs around these velvet rims and strap your hands across my engines”? What does it mean?
I can’t see how it can be literal on account of how motorbikes are built (to my knowledge). But what can/do engines and rims mean figuratively?
Please help!

Ya know, the climb aboard baby for a good ride, type thing.
