The 1984 Sci-Fi Thriller The Terminator (top), starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, used the Griffith Observatory as the location where the Terminator lands after going back in time. The observatory went through a major renovation starting in ’02 which is evident in my photo here (below).

James Cameron Trivia!
It was very predictable. There was nothing amazing about the movie. Unless this movie was intentionally targeted towards grade schoolers and naive teenagers, the movie generally sucked. The animation was great, but that was about it. Anyone who has a brain and uses it knows it was just overhyped and it didn’t live up to its expectations.
