The Stormtroopers are highly-trained imperial soldiers deployed in overwhelming numbers to carry out the Emperor’s will and maintain oppresive order throughout the galaxy. Armed with blasters, they hide behind the mysterious anonimity of their white body armour, which protects them from projectile weapons and shrapnel but can be perforated by blaster fire. Their suits also included a utility belt, equipped with a comlink, grappling hooks, binders and macrobinoculars. As well as the regular assault units, specialist troopers were developed for each situation: snow troopers, stormtrooper scouts, sandtroopers, etc.
