I’m sure you’ve seen the commercial to Easy A. There’s a girl who is the nice religious girl, and she’s the one that says “There’s a higher power that will judge you for your indecency”. Then the girl who fakes that she has sex with nerdy boys says “Tom Cruise?”. I seriously don’t get it. I am not religious, so I don’t know what the nice religious girl is trying to say. And I do not get why the other girl says “Tom Cruise”. I know she’s trying to be funny.
