Kobe Bryant became the NBA's ninth all-time scorer, as the Lakers defeated New Orleans 101-97, on Friday night. Also, former Laker DJ Mbenga received his championship ring.

Kobe has played 11 seasons and NEVER been League MVP. So how is it that he’s a ALL-TIME great? Real ALL-TIME greats such as Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Tim Duncan, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, & Bill Russell had MULTIPLE MVP honors in their first 11 seasons. So how is Kobe considered a ALL-TIME great and he doesn’t keep up with the others far as awards go? Now if you wanna say that Kobe’s a great player then say that. But calling him the best ever, the best in the league today, or a ALL-TIME great. is far fetched.
