Sports Choke No. 5
When the Boston Red Sox and “choke” are mentioned, people immediately think of Bill Buckner and the ball that went through his legs in the 1986 World Series. However, in all fairness to Buckner, losing that series was a team effort.

Derek Jeter Trivia!
I recently saw the gatorade commercial involving the game saving heros and the snapshot showing Jeter shows Todd Jones on the mound. Being a Detroit fan I wasn’t happy but I was curious. Has Derek Jeter hit a home run (or Grand Slam) off Todd Jones when he pitched for Detroit. If someone could give me an answer or a link to where I could find the answer, I would appreciate it.

He’s 5 for 13 against him, but hasn’t homered off him.

Jeter had a postseason homer against the Tigers, but he hit it off Jamie Walker. He doesn’t have a single career grand slam off the Tigers – the closest he has come are 3-run shots off Justin Thompson and Willie Blair.
